Default stacking maddness

So in the last BWE I had a Me/W IW build and was using Illusionary haste and sprint, it didn???t appear that they actually stacked... But in previous BWE I had a W/E with windborne speed and sprint and those definitely stacked.. Either there is a max of 33% speed increase or there is no method to this stacking madness.

This makes me wonder how the speed debuffs stack. Does cripple stack with mesmer speed debuffs or either of those stack with an elementalists speed debuffs?

I was also wonder if "I Will Avenge You!" stacks with frenzy or one of the other attack speed stances?

If they do stack, you will have to multiply the two numbers thus resulting in an almost unnoticable change.
The simple version, when it says you have a 33% increase, that means a 33% decrease in swing time. Therefore your swing time is only 67% of what it was before.
So for example, we will use two different skills that net you a 33% speed inscrease using a sword for example. A normal sword swings at 1.33 seconds. Since it is a 33% decrease to swing time, you would use the 67% value for both and multiply them. Taking that number and multiplying it by your normal swing time will give you the time to swing.

(100%-33% aka 67% x 2 of them) x Swing Speed = Actual Swing Speed with Buffs
(.67 x .67) x 1.33 = 0.597037 seconds

0.597037 seconds compared to the 0.8911 seconds that only one 33% skill would give. It is only a .3 second increase, so to the human eye, it may not seem like much of a difference, but there is one.

**Ensign, the math dude of GW , and I are talking about this, he thinks it works like, you actually swing 33% faster meaning you would have to divide your swing time by your speed increase. (example for his way)

1.33 / (100% plus a 33% increase giving 133% x two of them) = Actual Swing Speed
1.33/(1.33 x 1.33) = .751879699 (rounded)

It would be pretty cool if a dev could come in here and clear this up, or even an Alpha .
